Eurail Attica Pass Conditions
- Eurail Passes must be validated within 11 months of issue
date by an Attica official at the first port.
- The customer must be in possession of an Attica boarding pass,
before boarding any vessel (see boarding Pass sample
further).
- Boarding Passes will be issued to Eurail/ Pass holders at 0
value, at any of the following locations:
- Adriatic Sea Port Agencies (Bari, Ancona, Igoumenitsa, Corfu,
Patras)
- Piraeus Port Agency

- Customers will be provided with a booking reference number
which can be used to redeem the actual ferry ticket (= Attica
Boarding Pass) . Note that customers will need to check in at the
Ferry Terminal before going to the Port for
embarkation
- Boarding passes may only be issued for crossings covering a
maximum of 6 crossings; the date of each crossing needs to be
entered in the date box on the Eurail/Interrail Pass prior to
departure
- Should the customer wish to make further crossings; tickets can
be purchased at a discounted rate (see "Additional Benefits" on
page 4)
- If a passenger chooses to upgrade their accommodation, the
additional charges will be payable either at the port, or on board
the vessel.
Port Information
- The Port of Piraeus can easily be accessed from Athens airport
and Athens centre by bus, metro or taxi.
- The port of Rafina is also easily accessible by bus and taxi
from Athens airport and centre.
Additional Benefits
- Pass holders are entitled to 30% discount on all domestic ferry
routes operated by Attica Group vessels, for any additional
trips.
- Taking advantage of this discount does not require the use of a
'trip'.
Check-in
- Please advice customers to arrive 1 ½ to 2 hours before
departure at the port (for both international and domestic
journey's).
Attica Boarding Pass
- Customers will need to collect an Attica boarding pass for each
crossing (see Conditions of Use), before boarding each vessel.
- Customers travelling without such a boarding pass will be
refused to board.
Pass Refunds
- Passes must be returned to International Rail within 12 months
from the date of issue.
- Passes must be unused and in original condition.
- A cancellation fee of 25% applies to approved refunds.
- Lost or Stolen passes are not refundable and can not be
replaced.
Reissuing Passes
This usually occurs if a pass needs to be changed due to
incorrect spelling of a name or a different passes is required.
- Passes can be reissued if they are returned within 11
months of issue, not validated and in original
condition.
- A $20 fee will apply per person per pass and any difference in
the cost will need to be paid.
- The applicable shipping fee will apply to send out the new
pass.
- The pass must be the same or of greater value.
- Refund conditions apply to downgrade a pass.
